Jinny Nature Trail - This nature trail has been formed by Stretton Parish Council and Rolleston on Dove Parish Council from the disused railway. The trail is extremely popular and is used by many walkers, dog walkers, local groups and all the local schools use the trail as part of their Environmental studies. The Planning Inspectorate following the Public Enquiry confirmed that an order to modify the definitive map and include the Jinny Trail as a bridleway would not be formalised - therefore the Jinny Trail will not become a bridleway.

Below is a picture of the old entrance onto the trail - extensive work has now been completed to upgrade the entrance to enable disabled people access.
