Station Walk - The walkway
formed from the disused railway which forms an alternative route through the
main village. The Parish Council have provided street lighting along Station Walk.

Jinny Nature Trail - This
nature trail has been formed by Stretton Parish Council and Rolleston on Dove
Parish Council from the disused railway. The trail is extremely popular and
is used by many walkers, dog walkers, local groups and all the local schools
use the trail as part of their Environmental studies. The Planning Inspectorate following the Public Enquiry confirmed that an order to modify the definitive map and include the Jinny Trail as a bridleway would not be formalised - therefore the Jinny Trail will not become a bridleway.
Below is a picture of the old entrance onto the trail - extensive work has now been completed to upgrade the entrance to enable disabled people access.

Below are two pictures of the completed new access with RADAR gate.

The Green - A central part
of the village owned and maintained by the Parish Council for many years.

The Millennium Garden -
Site gifted to the Parish Council upon the closure of the School. The area was
landscaped, a bus shelter erected and a sculpture commissioned during Millennium
Year - 2000.

- Primilarly used for football at present. There are two adult football pitches,
a junior sized pitch and a large training area with floodlights. All the facilities
are currently fully subscribed. It is the intention of the Parish Council to
undertake a study of the facility and consult on the future of the playing fields
and the facilities it offers or could offer.
